The Town of Rockvale has an elected Mayor. The Mayor oversees day-to-day operations of the Town, and is responsible for full time and part time employees as well as contractors, including the following departments:
- Town Clerk
- Finance
- Planning and Building Department
- Parks, Recreation and Open Space
- Public Works and Utilities
- Economic Development
- Municipal Court
- Sustainability
The Clerk assists departments with planning and implementation and assists staff in following new Board of Trustees directives. The Clerk undertakes research at the direction of the Board and makes recommendations to the Board.
