Parks
May Park is located from Railroad Street to Main Street and from Knob Avenue to the alley west of the park. May Park is Rockvale's only park for picnics and small gatherings, as it has one park shelter available for reservation. In 2025 a new off-street parking lot was added. Currently going through revitalization to improve the usable space and to become the park we'd all like to see for our community!
Miners Park is located on Rockafellow Street next to the Town Hall. The baseball field has undergone a transformation and can be used by residents and the general public.
Bighorn Trail is located near the southwestern border of Rockvale across from the Town Field. Parking is available near the trailhead near Mary Maher Park; however overnight parking is not allowed. The Trail is steep and rugged at the beginning, features sandstone trails and rocky outcroppings with beautiful views of Pikes Peak, the Arkansas River Valley and the surrounding area. No facilities.
